Catey has grown up dancing competitively in Orange County since age five. She attended Cal State University of Fullerton where she was on their Dance Team and won 2 national championship titles and graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Communications. Catey danced professionally as a Laker Girl for the Los Angeles Lakers for 2 seasons, one of them being the year they were the Final Champions. She has been teaching various style of dance for nine years now, and this is her third season at Elite where she teaches Jazz, Lyrical, Pilates, Pom, and Turns and Leaps. Catey has also been a High School Song coach for 7 years. She is excited for another year of dancing and great memories!
