Katelyn has been pursuing dance for over twenty years and has specialized in styles of ballet, contemporary, modern, and jazz. She began her training here at Elite where she had a high engagement with Youth American Grand Prix as well as Elite's competition teams. Over the course of her training she has attended many intensives throughout America including Joffrey Ballet Chicago, American Ballet Theatre, and Backhaus Dance. She currently is in her final year of pursuing her Bachelor in Fine Arts in dance performance and choreography at the University of California Irvine. During her college years she performed in many pieces including George Balanchine's ballet Serenade and Paquita. She has studied under: Tong Wang, Vitor Luiz , Diane Diefenderfer, Lindsay Gilmour, Charlotte Griffin, Lar Lubovitch, Cyrian Reed, Molly Lynch, Janelle Burgess and Nannette Brodie. 

 

While at UCI Katelyn has also danced and collaborated with many professional dance companies in the Orange County area including Jazz Spectrum as well as Nannette Brodie's Dance Theatre. She has also participated in a series of dance festivals throughout the Los Angeles area.

Katelyn has a passion for teaching and pouring into the younger generation of dancers. She desires to give each student the same joy of dance that she has had the blessing to experience.
